I attended the BEAUTIFUL book launch at LA’s romance bookstore The Ripped Bodice this evening.
I arrived at 5pm (an hour before the signing was to begin) and the line already was going around the corner.
Once it was 6pm, the line moved quickly into the store. For those who pre-ordered the BEAUTIFUL book, their copies were available for pickup. Otherwise, there were plenty of copies available for purchase. In fact, all the books in the series were available in lovely displays.
Once the copies of the final book in the Beautiful series were picked up, attendees got in line for the actual signing. Both Christina Hobbs and Lauren Billings (the duo who write under Christina Lauren) were available. They were both incredibly sweet and even had buttons of their characters for giveaways.
The entire store was decorated in Beautiful style with appropriately decorated cupcakes and temporary tattoos.
It was a fun evening! The best part was getting the chance to talk with others who love romance.
